Probably. Although I'm the first to hold my hand up, iTunes is my digital playground, nowadays, my direct route to music new and old.

Bandcamp is excellent but I confess I heard of it only a few weeks ago. It needs more exposure - even the most hardy and dedicated of my Music loving friends are in the dark.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6761247683158126913.post-86141243712965127912013-01-16T19:25:28.420+00:002013-01-16T19:25:28.420+00:00so sad- but at least you can mabs get a few bargai...so sad- but at least you can mabs get a few bargains in the last sale :/ anddd think kindles and ebooks are pretty bad news for places like waterstones ): cuteee blog!

xxooxoxo

http://downthelanetoplaystreet.blogspot.co.uk/Play Streethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04612632405087479117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6761247683158126913.post-26850804175568510232013-01-16T15:23:51.783+00:002013-01-16T15:23:51.783+00:00Hi darling!

You don't get that with online sales anymore. Bandcamp is probably the closest thing to that now.Besma Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10801112043067820804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6761247683158126913.post-23244901631514977372013-01-15T21:08:41.119+00:002013-01-15T21:08:41.119+00:00I bought my first ever single at HMV, c.2002 I thi...I bought my first ever single at HMV, c.2002 I think. It's a shame, but as you quite rightly point out, they attempted to cash in on too diverse a market.

If they had stuck to tunes, remained a specialised music outlet, they might have survived as the only genuine high-street CD seller.
